"This piece is part of a series I created called More Lessons that reflected on my experience with breast cancer in 2008. Every life experience is the opportunity to reflect, grow and learn and my cancer was no exception. The birds represent spiritual messengers who come to guide Us along the way and the figures represent me and my sweet Tommy who was with me every single step of the journey, loving me, supporting me, guiding me through.
