 Hitchcock VI & VII

Laura Pope

11” x 11”, acrylic on mounted paper

From my solo show ‘Hitchcock black&white’, inspired by the music of my friend and musician/songwriter, Jody Hanks. Allowing his melody and lyrics to flow through me resulted in this latest series of work. Keeping the palette minimal to black and white is reminisce of the original Hitchcock film, ‘The Birds’.  – ‘Why did the birds all fly away?’ from ‘Hitchcock’ by Jody Hanks.
